How to create your own content / links in 21.COMMERCE
These instructions describe the process and the possibilities for creating and managing your own pages and links in 21.COMMERCE.
There are two menus used to create and link your content:
- “Edit content”: Creating and updating content
- “Edit navigation”: Managing links and where the content will be displayed
Administration Menus
First register in the backend of your 21.COMMERCE system.
Click on “Own content” there you see both menus.

Create New Entry
In the “Edit content” window, under “Create new page” enter the name of the new page and click on the “create” button.
A box is shown where you can enter the data for the new entry. Select the drop-down list Type and select Page with content.
Info: In a newly installed shop there are three main entries:
- main navigation: Elements that are displayed horizontally in the main navigation at the top.
- Infolinks: Elements which are displayed on the left side (e.g. in a box).
- Footer: Elements that are displayed horizontally in the footer at the bottom of the shop.

Designate and Create

A new window opens. Here you can select an existing page or create a new one.

Click on “create new page” to define a name and close this window as shown in figure 4 by clicking on the “create” button. Info: The page with the name ‘test’ already exists (for test purposes).
Save Further Data and Elements
As you can see, some fields have now been filled. Now finish the creation with a click on “file beneath this element “ buttons at Infolinks. If you have already created several entries, you can add the new entry to the desired location in the link tree.

Edit Content of a New Page

Now you are back in the editing area, where you can edit all entered pages or delete their links (the pages themselves can be deleted somewhere else).
Edit content of new page
Now click on “Edit your own content”.

Here you can edit all your created pages. Simply go to the dropdown list and select the desired page to edit it.
Edit / save changes
The page can now be edited in the editor. Afterwards you can save the page via “Save changes” and then view it in your shop (correctly formated).

Info: To enter HTML code directly, simply click on the “Insert link” button at the top of the editor.
Delete contents
Here you can either remove the link to a page in the link box and / or the page with the content itself.
Delete link
If you want to remove the link to one of your own pages, go to chapter 6 again and click as shown there on the red “delete”-button at the right of the page you want to delete.
This procedure is recommended if you no longer want to display the desired page in the shop, but still want to keep the content. Please note that direct links to the page are still possible (e.g. via search engine).
Info: This operation only removes the link in the navigation. The page and its content will not be deleted. The following chapter describes how to delete the whole page.
Delete page
The self-created pages are stored as HTML files. The pages are loaded and displayed for the customer with the PepperShop Static Page Loader.
To delete the content of a page, go to the help archive (‘Shop-Administration Main Page’ > ‘Help & News’ > ‘Help Archive’ > ‘Static Page Loader’ (scroll in the content list or enter search term).

Then search for the “Existing files” section as shown in the figure and delete the desired links. There is one page with the same name per language in the shop.
