The AbaNinja Advanced Accounting add-on module provides you with additional functions in AbaNinja accounting. In the following overview, you can see the functionalities it contains and how it differs from the Basic version.
The Advanced Accounting add-on module can be tested free of charge for 30 days via the Swiss21.org portal and subscribed to for CHF 21 per month.
Additional functions in AbaNinja Accounting
By default, AbaNinja calculates according to the gross method. If you are not subject to VAT, you have the option of setting the account to Not subject to VAT.
With the Advanced Accounting add-on module, you have the option of calculating the VAT using a flat rate within the gross method. In addition, when opening the account or business year, the taxation according to the net method can also be selected.

Chart of accounts
If an AbaNinja account is opened with Switzerland or Liechtenstein as the country, a subset of the more than 130 most important and most frequently used accounts based on the official Swiss SME chart of accounts is created by default. The designation of these accounts can be individually adapteWeitere
With the free AbaNinja Basic version, standard account proposals are created based on the standard SME account framework. These account proposals are used for automated accounting.
With the Advanced Accounting add-on module, you have greater scope for customisation by being able to create your own account proposals.
Foreign currency rate
The exchange rates are always updated automatically. They can now also be entered manually in the Advanced Accounting add-on module.

With the free AbaNinja Basic version, all automatic entries are visible in the journal. With the Basic version, manual entries can only be made on the account statement.
With the Advanced Accounting add-on module, manual entries can also be made directly in the journal. This provides a very simple entry screen for advanced needs.

To check the value of customer (debtors) and supplier (creditors) invoices, the Advanced Accounting add-on module provides you with a detailed OI list based directly on figures from the accounting system.

Key figures help you to monitor the company's finances and form important orientation parameters. You can use them to measure your company's success, compare it with companies in the same industry and monitor business processes (controlling).
The most important key figures are available to you in real time so that you can always keep an eye on your company's business development.

So that you can easily settle your VAT, an overview is generated for you in AbaNinja, which serves as a completion aid for the official form of the FTA. In addition to the VAT statement, you can check in the control list the composition of the individual figures.

Connection to Abacus Financial Accounting
Simultaneous use of the Advanced Accounting add-on module and the connection to Abacus Financial Accounting is only useful to a limited extent. If there is a connection to Abacus Financial Accounting, the same Advanced Accounting functions are activated in AbaNinja.
In the case of a connection, Abacus Financial Accounting becomes the leading accounting system. For this reason, AbaNinja also hides the balance sheet, income statement, key figures and VAT accounting in AbaNinja.
Own E-Mail return address
In AbaNinja, e-mails are sent by default with the company name as the sender name, the sender address email@example.com and the company e-mail as the return address.
With the Advanced Accounting add-on module, the sender address firstname.lastname@example.org can be replaced by your own e-mail address.
