With the release many enhancements and improvements will be activated in the following areas. The most important ones are presented here:
1. Design pages with new Drag'n'Drop Content Editor
Create unique pages (currently max. 5 pages) for your 21.SHOP with the new Content Editor. Drag'n'drop templates and layouts directly onto the page. Insert text blocks, images, and videos with the help of Content. Customize the design for computers, tablets, and smartphones.
2. Simple Menu Assignment
Custom content pages, articles/categories, custom links, or texts can now be assigned to a menu even more easily. With the new management, the menu items in the main menu, the left column, and in the footer can be easily created and assigned via Drag'n'Drop.
3. A fresh new look for the customer view
The customer view of your 21.SHOP now has a new look. The basic layout has been modernized and adapted to current trends. In combination with the Content Editor, customize your online store to suit your brand.
To activate the new design, reset the theme under Design.
For an even better user experience, new design features include the following:
The header (menu) is now fixed at the top of the screen. No matter how far down you scroll, the header remains fixed and dynamically adjusts in height (scroll).
Side-entry shopping cart info area
The shopping cart can now be opened directly from the side. Your customers can go directly from there to the checkout without an intermediate page.
Fixed Shopping Cart button
In the item detail view, the "Add to cart" button is always visibly fixed at the bottom of the screen when scrolling down.
4. New and revised Webshop themes
To match the new design of the customer view, there are two new themes: Industrial & Fashion. In addition, the previous themes have been adapted to the new layout.
When you choose a theme, a matching design element in your store color choice is always automatically created and assigned for the start page.
5. Modernized Administration
The administration area of both 21.COMMERCE apps now features a new interface. The expanded dynamic design is based on a new technical foundation. The masks have been optimized, and made even more user-friendly.
6. SVG Shop logo support and Favicon Generator
Upload your logo now also in SVG vector format.
The Favicon Generator creates a Favicon directly from your logo, which can be displayed for example in bookmark lists or tabs of web browsers.
7. Layout Management for 21.POS
Design the interface of your POS solution in the 21.POS according to your own corporate design with the new Layout Management. Insert your logo and choose the main and secondary colors.
8. Scan vouchers directly at POS (Add-on module)
Each voucher now comes with a clearly identifiable code and a QR code. The QR code is automatically recognized as a voucher at the checkout when it is scanned, without having to switch to voucher entry first, and can therefore be entered directly while the products are being scanned.

9. Print sales receipt?
Now you can decide individually for each sale whether a receipt should be printed or not. To save paper, 21.POS does not print the sales receipt automatically.
10. Advanced customer search
The advanced customer search can be found in the checkout interface under Customers. The search allows you to query more precise search criteria of your clientele.
11. Text input fields for additional information
Text input fields allow you to enter additional information or remarks per ordered item. Your customers can fill in the additional fields directly in the online store (see Figure 1) or you can fill in the fields in the POS interface (see Figure 2).
To activate the text input fields, you can define the number of text input fields under Settings - General - Edit articles. After that you can adjust the text input fields directly in the edit mask of the article.
12. Deliver PDFs directly to the customer account
Your customers can now view their shipping notices directly in their customer account at 21.SHOP. Activate this function under Modules - PDF Print - Display PDFs in Customer Account.
13. Cryptocurrency support for Bitcoin and Ethereum
Worldline now also supports payment in cryptocurrencies with the smartphone. Besides the most popular cryptocurrency Bitcoin, Worldline also offers Ethereum.
To sell with cryptocurrencies in your online store, you need an additional contract. If you are interested, please feel free to contact Glarotech GmbH directly.
14. Revised Consent Manager
The Consent Manager, also called Cookie Manager, has been adapted to the revised Swiss Data Protection Act (revDSG) with Privacy by Default preset.
In the 21.COMMERCE Administration under Settings - General - System Configuration you can activate the item "Use Cookie Manager".
15. Assign voucher category / Determine fixed-price
In the Voucher add-on module, in addition to the two voucher types Promotion and Credit, there is a new, third type: Fixed price.
With a fixed-price voucher, the customer does not benefit from a percentage or monetary amount but can buy the item for a predefined item price indicated on the voucher.
In addition, vouchers can now also be assigned to categories.
