In 21.AbaNinja, the balance/flat rate tax accounting method can also be used. This functionality is part of a paid subscription that you can purchase via the Swiss21 portal or if there is an active connection to Abacus Financial Accounting (AMID).
In this case, the corresponding tax rate can be added in the settings under VAT > Tax rates.
Subsequently, the correct accounting method and the entered tax rate must be saved for the desired financial year.
Under Accounting > VAT > VAT settlement, it is possible to account for the balance/flat rate tax method in half-years. This is done automatically if the balance/flat rate tax is set for two consecutive quarters.
Note:
Only the quarters of the first and second half-year are combined. It is not possible to combine the 2nd quarter with the 3rd quarter into one half-year.
