If the owner of an account leaves the company or association or hands over their position to someone else, you can also change the owner of the account in the Swiss21 portal. The Swiss21 account will then run via the correct e-mail address. We will be happy to explain how to do this:
You - or the current owner of the account - can first log in to Swiss21 and go to the portal settings. There, select the "Ownership" > "Transfer of ownership" button.
In a first step, you now confirm that you are the owner and administrator of the account and that you have all rights to change or transfer these rights to a third party. You also confirm that you wish to unconditionally and irrevocably transfer all rights to all applications in connection with Swiss21.org to a third party.
Under point two you can select the new owner. This person must already be invited to the account as a user.
In the last step, you - or the current owner of the account - must confirm the change. An e-mail with a code will now be sent to the "old" owner e-mail address. Enter this code in the following line to confirm the change.
Complete the procedure by clicking on the "Transfer of ownership" button. Please log out of the Swiss21 portal for the time being. The account is now in the name of the new owner.
The "old" owner will receive an e-mail confirming the change of ownership. This person will no longer be able to log in to the account. The now "new" owner will also be notified by e-mail that full ownership rights to the account have been transferred to them. These will take effect from the next login.
